• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 Slingshot

I see the new 2018 Indian have the Ride Command System on them now too.

Are the Spyders next??

And a larger trunk like the F3 limited for the RT models?

My infotainment is my phone and my bluetooth helmet setup... No fancy additional screens needed and my eyes never leave the road thanks to voice commands via my phone and BT setup with SENA.

If you have any hip, knee or other issue, the Slingshot might be for you. My buddy has to help me in and out of his. Fun, but never a replacement for my RT IMHO.

the 2018 Slingshots are out and wonder if there ride command system with be in the future for the Spyders?

There might be. Just before I left Homecoming I was talking with the Spyder product manager (failed to get a card and don't remember his name!:banghead:) and pointed out to him the problem of the cluster being hard to see in bright daylight because the lens is so smooth. I have an anti-glare screen protector on mine and it really improves visibility. He said there is a change coming in the cluster design that would address that problem. He also noticed my Samsung tablet I use for a GPS and asked if an integrated GPS would be desirable, or something of the sort. I commented that the cluster screen was too small for me to be a good GPS screen, and even the current info is hard to see for us with old eyes. He didn't offer any more comments or questions but just the fact he said changes were coming, to me, is a clear indicator that we will see something new in the future. When? Who knows?
