2018 RT Limited Trim Dark or Chrome price difference?

On the 2018 RT Limited I see they come with Dark (Black) or Chrome. Any price difference or trim preference? Hoping to trade my 2012 RTS for one.

Yes. The dark is significantly cheaper. If you are looking for an 18, there seem to be more darks available than chrome, for 19s both should be available. You can get a good deal on a 2018 Limited if you are willing to go after a limited color choice (In tampa, grey mostly, some whites). Trim wise, the two are equals with exception of course of dark vs chrome trim.

Dark is a lot cheaper in price I think by +$1000

I don't know anything about any differences in equipment, but I do know that appearance-wise, the 2018 RT Limited Dark looks exactly like a 2017 RT-S. If you plan on customizing, you can paint over the black but I doubt you can paint over chrome. I also know that sometimes chrome peels off, at least it does on auto wheels. That and the cost was enough to talk me out of the 2017 Limited (chrome) version. I painted my RT-S wheels red metallic which makes them a little bit unique. OTOH, if you love the chrome and you want everything to be chrome, only the Chrome version will do and that would make it a good bargain even if it costs more. Probably people with peeling chrome are people who don't take care of their property so I wouldn't let that deter me.

Not true. In 18 they blacked out the headlights and fog lights to give it a more sinister look. You can't paint over the lights!
