Good evening, everyone.
My wife and I went on a day trip last week. It was very hot, 104 for most of the day. During the trip our Spyder did what it usually does when getting hot, the fan would come on and off all day, which is normal. BUT on our way home, I felt something different happening with the Spyder. When down shifting, it wasn't down shifting like before.
ALSO, now when you put the bike in Reverse, it will reverse on its own up to 10km/h without any throttle applied! It does the exact same thing when in 1st gear, it will move up to at least 10 km/h. It never did this before that day. It would slowly very slowly creep forward, but never up to 10km/h and it never reversed on its own without giving it throttle. What could be happening to the RT??
I did an oil change 1 week before the trip. I just checked the oil level and it's fine. I have no idea what happened to cause this. Could HEAT somehow damage the engine? Also, it almost stalls when in 1st gear now.
Thank you so much.
