2018 F3 Limited - Throttle / Launch question

I have a new 2018 F3 Limited SE6 with about 700 Miles on it.
I have noticed when first starting the vehicle and shifting into first gear for the first time that there is a lag in actually moving the vehicle forward.
I will hear it change into gear immediately. However when winding the throttle up, there is no immediate forward motion.

On other vehicles I would have described this as the transmission slipping.
Is this normal? Do others experience this ?

I only experience on initial vehicle start up in 1st gear. Often experience after reversing down the driveway and then shifting into first, but also experience from cold start initial launch forward in 1st.

It won't do that, so much, if you let it warm up for a minute or two before taking off.

Perfectly normal for the hydraulically operated automatic clutch they have.
And not just that model.

I have had 2 F3T's and they are jerky when cold pulling out. At normal OT all is well.

Ditto. OT being Operating Temperature. Spins the tire easily.
