• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody changed the speakers and if you did what kind and size and did you add a small amp. Did you run into any issues with the radio? The radio is way to low in sound for me on the highway. thanks for the advice.

Do you have v20.8 firmware installed? Also try setting the ambient auto volume increase. I have a 2018 RT Limited with the 6 speaker audio system. After setting the auto volume increase, I get plenty of audio at 70 mph with the volume set at about 3/4.

How can you check to see what level of firmware you have installed?

A few days ago " Billy Bovine " posted some info about this issue ….. He stated HOW to fix …… Mike :ohyea:

I have a 2018 F3L and have no problem with audio volume. Using my android phone for audio. At highway speed with the volume at between 1/2 and 3/4. Also the the auto volume set to high.

So we need more details. What is your audio source? If using your phone. What kind of phone, android or iphone? Are you using a device that plugs into the aux input?

Don't know if this has been mentioned, but Android detects something being plugged into the headphone jack and sets audio output to HALF. You need to go in and turn up the fone's volume. It will argue with you, but you can do it.

I went for ride yesterday and made the recommended adjustments. Sound level ok but clarity was so-so. Might investigate putting better speakers and a small amp; will keep everybody posted thanks for the help- Mike
