• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2017 F3T fishtailing when hard braking - Is this normal?

I just Traded my 2015 F3S for the 2017 F3T and only have 500 miles so far. I am not sure if it is actually fishtailing but the sensation is there. I will be checking tire pressure but it sounds like a trip to the Dealership is fast approaching just to have it check over. I just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue or sensation that has a F3T or possible an F3LTD. Does not sound like anyone else has it so need to have it checked out.

Tazzel, we have a new 2017 F3Ltd with about 2000 km (1300 mi) on it in past two months. We ride mostly two-up, 95% of time. There has been no noticeable sensation of 'fish-tailing' under braking or down-shifting. However, I have recently noticed some slight 'scrubbing' marks on shoulders of both front tires, about an inch or so from corner of tread up the sidewall. This would suggest that my tires could be under-inflated, and 'rolling' slightly on corners, so I checked. They were set by dealer two months ago. Found the right front at 17#, left front at 18# and rear at 28#. Temps taken cold, outside air at approx. 72F.

I wasn't aware that BRP had raised recommended front pressure to 23#. Surprised to find mine set by dealer at 18#, if so. However, just from observing my tires, I'm thinking I should try an increase. Will try to assess any difference in handling.

Hope you get your issue resolved.
