• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 RTL Question

Cleaning my RT last night I heard a rattle checked it out and found the bolt on the right side saddle bag was missing. The bolt looking at the saddle bag from the side would be in the lower left corner. I think it’s like the others going around the top and sides? I’ve check parts diagrams and can’t find what it is does anyone know the bolt size or P/N#. Thanks Michrick

michrick, this is timely for me because my wife and I have noticed a strange sound coming from that area when we hit a bump on the roadway. Ours is a 2014 RTL so I assume the attachment is the same. Is the location of this bolt obvious, because I didn't see anything suspicious when I looked around there yesterday. Was it easy to wiggle that saddlebag with the bolt gone?

On another note....I did find the forward bolt that holds the left foot pad chrome support panel in place on the body had backed almost all the way out ! Appears to go into a threaded fitting and just worked loose, but I stopped and bought a nut for the backside and tightened it down too until we get home.

Well the OEM parts list doesn't clearly show what I need in the picture, guess I'm headed to a dealer to see what' s missing

These are some of the screws for the saddle bag.
Good Luck

Same here

Found my right side panel loose yesterday, am planning to disassemble and find the missing bolt today before it gets too hot.

I left the socket on for clarity, it’s s 10mm head and was backed out about half way when I took off panels.
