• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 RTe6 On Order

Been lurking here since June, and really appreciate all the great insights that I have read here!

Took the plunge and ordered a 2016 RTe6 with the comfort seat, just a couple of hours ago.
Traded in my ST1300, for the RT, and will miss the Honda. Now I have to wait till April for the RT:yikes:.

Still have my 2012 Harley Street Glide, so at least I can still ride as the weather allows, but it's going to be a long winter!

Neil

:welcome:and :congrats: on your purchase April will be here before you know it. Also, welcome to the 1330 Ace Club!
What Color did you order?

The wait is the down side...:banghead: but glad you hung on to one for the duration...:roflblack: your nit alone just hang in there...:yes:

Like Henry Ford said about the model T, "You can have any color as long as it's black".
Only option is black

You have to wait 7 months to get it?

Early April is when they are getting the new trikes in.
But it's no big deal really, almost time to store for the winter anyway.

In BC snow tires are required from Oct. 1 to March 31, and I have heard of people getting hassled by the RCMP for not having them installed (like you can buy them anyway) even when there is no snow in sight. Two years ago the local Harley Demo ride was stopped and told if they were seen out of the city limits again (you can operate without snow tires in the city) they would all be ticketed.

Same in Quebec. So on a nice day in early March, with clear, dry roads, we cannot ride our 2 or 3 wheelers. GRRR
I thought we were the only province that did that. Here it is Dec 15 - Mar 15.

Hope you enjoy your new Spyder when April rolls around.

I may have waited till spring to order, but the Four Year no cost Warranty was just too good a deal. Plus I had been hoping for the USB hookup for music, so ordering now was a no-brainer.

I guess that you'll have to stay busy on some other BRP product until the snow melts. :D

Wonder if the USB hook up will work on earlier RTs?
