• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 RT-S Special

I think a couple hundred for a little "goofy paint" and you would be in business with ANY
1330 version of the RT. I guess that means I ain't feelin' it.

Dark...

Glad they put that splash of red on the air dam or you would be a spot of tar on the pavement...:roflblack: it is nice if your the dark (all blacked out) type hard to keep clean if you like clean and a bit costly for just color. But I feel a sparkle in your eye...shop around you will have better deals....

We all know that the basic RT package is a good one; it just comes down to which version of the bike that you like the best.

Not a fan of the bikes being sold in primer. Finish the darn paint job.

A black primer bike with a red tongue sticking out. Yeah, not feeling this one.

Trying not to rain....

Trying not to rain our your parade TTRAC, but I've never been keen on the whole "Blacked Out" thing. Yah, I know it's like being a Stealth Bomber or Stealth this or that.... When it comes to being out ryding the road, I WANNA BE SEEN!!! I wanna be lit up and seen from space! JMHO..

:agree: I think I will keep mine. Dark ( hard to see ). At least people can see my spyder ( Cognac) thanks but no thanks. Deanna

RTS Special

I purchased a 2015 RT-S special "the Black and Red". I believe you should get the color you like. Never let others make their choice yours.

But make sure you add some lights to be seen.

Blade

To Each....

Color--like seats--is a very personal choice. Get what YOU like. Life is to short to wish you would of had a V8.
:agree::agree::agree:
To Each Their Own and more power to you!
I don't believe that anyone could accuse Spyder Ryders to be conformists....

:D Just Remember:

I agree with others. This seems a bit pricey for a little more black paint, but buy what you like. Next year after enjoying the machine for a whole season, the price will be irrelevant.
I have the mostly black RTS from 2014. I like the Timeless Black, and the only SM6 I could find was this version. I'm not real fond of these 12 spoke black rims, but I don't dislike them enough to spend money replacing them.

Some important upgrades: I have no reflectors on the Spyder anymore. All the reflectors have been upgraded to LED lights either amber or red to increase visibility of others seeing me.
I've mounted the HMT third brake light, again to help others see me.
I've upgraded the headlamps to HID, again, to see better as well as being seen.

If you ever get down here to N.E. Florida, I'll swap you wheels.

Thanks, it's the whole splayed 12 spoke wheel that's just too busy for my taste.

I'd prefer this style where the spokes are grouped. This would look good blacked out:
