2016 RT Limited

Just pulled the trigger on a leftover 2016 RT Limited in Pearl White, was looking at the new 2017 F3 Limited and 2017 RT Limited in Champagne but the price was pretty good on the 2016 hard to justify more for the color and the F3 my wife said the rear seat didn't feel as good as on the RT.
I'm planning on a hitch being installed but I'm confused as to if I just need the hitch or all the electrical?? plus did I see somewhere these RT's come with a travel 1/2 cover? Thanks for anyone's thoughts or advice.

You need a trailer wiring harness, either the BRP or one from Show Chrome. BRP is four wire trailer wiring only. Show Chrome has one for 5 wire and one for 4 wire. If your trailer has separate amber turn signals and red brake lights you'll need the 5 wire harness.

Welcome! I didn't see where anyone addressed your question about needing the electrical for the trailer hitch. If you buy the Can-Am Trailer Hitch it comes with the wiring harness.
