• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2016 RT Limited Problems Continued

I need some input from people that have a 2016 RT Limited and have road pegs.
One of the things I really do like about my F3S SE6 is the ability to move
the pegs around and I am most comfortable at the 5 setting. I have a bad knee
and setting in a position that requires my knees to be bent at a 90 degree
angle gets painful pretty quickly. So, does the after market road pegs move
your feet forward pretty much or just outward? Also, are the stock seats comfortable
or would after market Ultimate's be on the horizon?
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Here's the thing....

They are two different seating positions so.....The aftermarket seats do give you more wiggle room helping the drivers position. The highway pegs come from a variety of supplies with them giving you options for forward and outward. Floor board are a big help too. Most are adjustable. You can probably match the forward leg position but the difference will be the seat hight....

I put these from Baker-Built on my 2014 RT, and they give me some room to stretch out during longer rides.
(Two bad knees, and two bad hips...)
As far as the seats: listen to what your own rump tells you, and you'll be fine. :D
Everybody is different, and nobody but you can make this decision.

RT Continued

I generally get in 150 to 250 mile trip about every other week and around town
everyday, weather permitting. I also average about two trips a year of about
2000 miles. I do have one scheduled for June that will be about 3500 miles or so.
That said I do not wish to spend $25K for a scoot that is not anymore comfortable
than what I have and I am guessing no where near the fun factor. Of course I
could be wrong on the fun factor and Ultimate seats would surely solve any butt
comfort problem that might pop up. Knee/leg placement is critical with me and if
push comes to shove I can get a new Gold Wing reverse trike with very adjustable
road pegs and keep my F3S for the wild side fun factor! Guess I need to do a little
more research on what road pegs are available.

Thanks for the input.

Lamonster Garage for RT pegs, or for F3 pegs.

Dray i purchased a 2014 RT Limited last June. i have rode over 16k miles so far & many days rode 600-700 miles. this is the best stock seat i have ever been on. I RODE gOLDWINGS OVER 500,00 miles in the past & never had the comfort anything like my Spyder. definitely no need for HIway pegs on this great machine. this is my first trike ever i tried a Goldwing trike but it rode very rough compared to this Spyder. Get a CAN AM Spyder RT Limited & enjoy the ride!!!

Just to let others give you a better idea of what compares for them to you, let others know your leg length and height.

Myself I have no idea what an F3 position 5 equates too.

The RTS we have does have a Corbin seat, stock was too soft. Foot position wise, it has stock floorboards. My height is 5'10" with 30" inseam. I do tend to prefer riding with knees bent, heels on the edge of the passenger floorboard and the balls of my feet on the driver floorboard.
