• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Spyder RT-S SE6 vs. RT Limited SE6

I own a red 2012 RT-S SE5 with 15K miles and I am considering trading it in on a new 2015 RT-S or Limited SE6. Other than the extra chrome and GPS, is there anything else different on the Limited to justify the cost difference of about $2500.00? Thanks!

I am happy to report that I went ahead and bought the 2015 RT-S. Love that 1330cc Rotax! I modeled at the Ringling College of Art & Design this past week! :yikes::yikes::yikes:

You want see a price difference compare a Basic RT... VS. an LTD....I think it's about $6500....The bean counters at BRP CRY every time a Basic RT gets sold.................jmho.........Oh , and I did buy the Basic :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:......Mike :yes::yes::yes:

The 2010 RT had no radio. Think if done again, would get the model with radio. My pillion rider will likely get a bluetooth helmet and end up listening to Pandora. Not having an intercomm is the plus side. She doesn't like to hear me complain about bad drivers or cows wandering in the road.

Yea, that's a lot of beans.of pay BRP. I bought a basic RT at Spyderfest in 2014. Len had added fog lights and it looks great. Why pay $1,000. for a smaller floorboard and still not be able to streatch out. But that's just me, and I own Seal Floorboards!!!

The 2012 Limited had many more extras, luggage for all the trunks, air pressure gauge, chrome, a gps that gets me lost, a radio I don't use, a travel cover, old style fenders that will fit bigger tires, but no floorboards.
 
I like all the farkles that came with 2012 RTL including the tan seat. BUT I bought mine used and didn't have to pay the new price. I will probably hope to do the same thing when it comes time to replace the 2012 with a 2015. Though since the Limeyed pnly comes in an SE I will step down a notch so I can find an SM.
