2015 RT SE6 wants to keep going when stopped in gear, forward or reverse - any ideas? Anyone else?

I have a 2015 RT with automatic transmission. When stopped at a red light, I have to keep my foot on the brake because of the bike lugging; it keeps wanting to go, with the same problem in reverse. The Bike shifts well and there's no lights on the dash. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks for any help.

When stopped the clutch will disengage, allowing bike to slowly move forward or backward depending on incline. You will need to keep foot on brake. When the revs pick up to move clutch fully engages, then you go. Even tho the display doesn't show neutral (E), 1st gear is NOT a lock for the bike. The SE transmission still uses the clutch, without any physical lever. Is this what you mean, or need to know?

While Woodaddict is correct that the SE will roll in gear at idle. It should not be pulling, which is what I am getting from your post. If I'm wrong about this then disregard.

If the idle is too high the clutch may be trying to engage. The steel pates in the clutch can warp if they get too hot and this will keep it from fully disengaging at idle. There is also an assist function which, if not functioning correctly, can allow some unwanted engagement at idle. Even oil type and viscosity can affect clutch engagement at idle.

The clutch is not disengaging when stopped I changed the oil in January with same that was in it. What is the assist function? Sounds like I need new clutches. Also the RPM are at 800, and when I put it into gear, it dies.
Thanks for the information
