2015 RT S Spyder - 2010 Cam am RT 622 trailer harness issue

Hello everyone,
I recently purchased a 2015 RT S and today I purchased a used 2010 RT 622 Cam am trailer, of coarse the wiring connectors on the trailer is a round 9 pin?? and the bike connector is a square 4 pin. I will call the dealer tomorrow but was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this?

Yes and what fun it was. Be sure to request the new grounding harness for the trailer. If you don't get that changed out you will blow out your wiring harness on the bike.

They also make a connector to match your bike by BRP but can be pricey.
There are other options.

Be aware that if you intend to use only a 4-wire hookup, you will not use the wires labeled right flasher and left flasher. You will connect right and left brake wires to the right and left turn signal/brake wires from the vehicle.

Yep, sort of. I did not have the round plug on the bike so what I did was I hacked it off the trailer and wired some weatherpack connectors on. I wired it up so I have the amber turns and white reverse lights too. Easy to do on a 2010 trailer. ..not do much on the newer ones... I have a thread here somewhere that shows how I did it and the wire colors.
