2015 RT Limited GPS

Does the gps lock in place with a key r does it just come off anytime. just wondering about people stealing it. r do they have a aftermarket lockable cradle.

it comes off with a push of a button. nothing secures it if YOU walk off from your bike with it still attached.

just take it off and store it in the locked trunk.

That Zumo 590 is too expensive to turn your back on it IMO. I always lock mine in the trunk.

You should be able to put your GPS on and take it off without lock or key. It snaps into place, on the top right corner of the GPS push the tab to remove it.

I sent an e-mail last Saturday to Kradellock asking if the bolts that came with the lock for the Zumo 590 were long enough to fit the BRP mount for the Tri-Axis handlebars and within six hours I received a phone call from the boss explaining everything about the lock. Looks like it will move up substantially on the winter farkle list.

GPS

There is available a device called KRADLELOCK, made of metal that locks the GPS so it can't be removed. I have been using it and am very impressed.
