2015 rt limited gas milage

MPG...can be roughly calculated if you do it the same each time.

Trip meter to zero when filled.

Fill to the same level each time.

Divide trip meter mileage by pump information. PS. I round to one point. 5.8 etc.

RT's with the three cylinder (2014 and above) mostly get about 38 + mpg. I mostly go 200 miles between fillups....unless riding with the 2011 two cylinder. Then, its 150 miles, (when her refill light goes on).

Thanks for the comments as it has helped me average them to be about 35 mpg. more or less. I fill as full as I can get and that means drawing the nozzle out of the tank and slowly putting as much more as the auto shutoff will allow. Then drive until the yellow light comes on which mostly means I'm low and should stop within 35 miles. But, I DO carry 2 liters in a spun aluminum fuel cylinder in the rear compartment, just in case at the end of that 35 miles there is not a gas station. That should give me another 20 miles. If that fails, I have one of two motor clubs bring me gas on the road side. And if that fails, I use Spot to get someone to come look for me. But just so you know, I've only pushed it that far 5 or 6 times in 4 years. But I'm ready...

When we were in AK, few filling stations and in places, a lot of miles in between. We always went the conservative route. I pushed the mileage to within fumes only one time, on my 08 GS. 184 miles and 5.8 gallons to fill it up.
