• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 RT Battery Tender JR Negative Lead Attachment

jar

Just got my 2015 RT and want to hook up a Battery Tender JR. The instructions state to hook up the negative lead to the chassis only. Does anyone know a good spot? Hate to just play with it....expensive new bike:yikes:...thanks!

I bought my tender several years ago, when I had a Harley.
Since the bike was in for service, I asked my tech to attach the wires.
They hooked it up just like all the showroom bikes, directly to the Battery.

When I switched to the Spyder, I still had the Harley Charger. I hooked it up just like the Harley, directly to the battery.
Has worked fine with no ill effects.

Electrically, ALL grounds are one in the same, whether it be chassis or negative side of the battery.
