• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Hill COUNTRY SPYDER RIDE / aka the twisted three sisters ride

I want to come, but I need to see how much money/credit I'll have left after I get home from Alaska!! But I'll be watching this thread so I'll know how to plan.

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Now where is everybody planning on staying?

We are staying at the Fairfield Inn. It was very nice last year and right across the freeway from Coyote Power Sports. Very convenient. Was disappointed at the loss of the rate special but the other nice places in the area are just as high with low availability driving the prices up that weekend.

THANKS for the update.

Thanks to ingramsail for the great update. I feel much better about reserving an RV site now. Can't wait to meet you all.

Not sure but...

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Now where is everybody planning on staying?

Not sure yet, but either Take-It-Easy or By The River, RV parks both in Kerrville. Originally wanted Alamo Fiesta right across highway from Coyote Powersports, but they have rules against our cargo trailer staying on the site with the MoHo. It is the "garage" for our Spyders. We are lazy, so want it close. I can't see the difference between a small MoHo pulling an enclosed trailer and a large truck pulling a toy hauler, but .. Oh Well, it's their RV park. Since we are staying 2 months, Kerrville is closer to other things and has more to do than Boerne. Probably for the best.

Hill Country Spyder Ride

Looks like Wifey and I will be in attendance Saturday morning at the dealership. We own property 21 miles away so, as new Spyder owners (1 Year), we have to check this out. Unfortunately we will be in a truck with a dog.

Our top priority is to find someone with a Spyder that has an Ultimate Tall Boy seat that will let us test sit on it. We don't want to ride, just want to see how we like the seat for 2 up riding before we would go and buy one. If you are attending, have your bike set up this way and don't mind us sitting on your Spyder, please let me know so we will know who to look/ask for.

Thanks,
Bill

I guess I'm a little confused about where to stay. What motel is the host motel or isn't there a host motel? What about the River Inn Resort, are they giving a discount rate? Does anybody know where everybody is staying or is it take your pick of hotels? I know some are stay at the Fairfield but their rates are kind of high. Could somebody clear this up.

Thanks

Some are staying at the Fairfield (rates were cheaper way back when) and some are staying at the Best Western that I know of.

I called Fairfield today and they quoted $119 for Thursday and Friday and $219 for Saturday. I said what's up with that and she said they were almost sold out for Saturday. I remember sitting in the lobby there last year abc listening to them sell there last room at least five times.

I will be looking for a room elsewhere.

I have a reservation at Motel 6, but I'm going to call this week and book Comfort Inn & Suites at 35000 IH 10 West, Boerne, TX 78006. Their average rate for that time is $143, or $114 if you pay in advance non-refundable.

We just returned home from 2 month trip of 6000+miles. More on the trip later, will start working on the details of the Friday ride and Friday night feed.

If you haven't email me with the number of riders coming please, let me know at [email protected] . Just need this so the dealership can have food for everyone.

Will give count update in the coming week.

Thank Daryl Ingram
