• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 F3S Semi Auto Sensor

Yesterday morning I noticed a msg. scrolling across my panel that said
I had a tranny problem. Got to the dealer and several hours later I was
back on the road. It seems that the sensor that controls the oil pressure
that is applied to the clutch was cracked and weeping oil. Now that sensor is
only to be found at the manufacture in Canada. Say What!! Turns out that
the 2014's and 2015's have particular p/n and the 2016's a different p/n. After
a lot of research of both sensors, input voltage and pressure applied is the
same for both. The difference being that the body of the 2016 sensor is about 1/2"
shorter. One can only assume that it is to keep the sensor from being popped
with a rock or whatever very easily. The dealer pulled one off a 2016 F3T setting in
the show room and got me going. Thank you sir!! Your tranny sensor is located
on the muffler side just in front of the cat if you wish to look. if it is wrapped with
black electrical tape, check for oil leaking.

Wow...!!

You do have a great dealer...:2thumbs: hang on to them. In my time we did that for customers but did not have the problem of getting parts. I would assume that the 2016's have a modified part and may be what will be used to repair the problem....:banghead:
