There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hotter Version of the 1330 ACE Maybe???

Remember the original RT version of the triple doesn't really have much more horsepower than the previous 998 V-twin, just more low-end torque. Wouldn't it be possible for a sportier version to have higher output? Things like camshafts, porting and compression as well as intake and exhaust flow could be different enough on the F3 to up the game performance-wise and still be EPA compliant. Other motorcycle manufacturers do this. Whether or not BRP will do this on the F3 remains to be seen though.

I'm in on the pricing war.....how much do we put in??????$1, $5, $10, $20, $50????? anyway...with new engine...1330....new seat position...new look....etc...24k and up

Certainly we can hope!

I say it will be priced in typical BRP fashion (A.K.A. Overpriced) for the service you get after the dealer gets your money!

So what I am seeing is a machine with no windshield, no bags, none of the options of the RT, none of the looks of the RS, and none of the well rounded abilities of the ST. The consensus is that it looks like there is an ACE1330 inside, a line of motors that has not exactly had a history of white knuckle performance. This motor was designed and tested in the snowmobile market and has historical data to draw from (much like the 990) without the added cost and liability of a completely new design. The new riding position (my favorite change) is more comfortable, but does not lend itself to stability in the saddle during more "spirited" rides.

That being said:
Is the new riding position worth the price of a base model RT, or a loaded ST? Not in my opinion.
What is adding one more model to the $20,000 price range really going to accomplish? Seems like everybody is fighting for a slice of
the same pie. And these slices are only going to get smaller with each model that gets added.

I did not guess in my earlier post I took the limited information I had in several photos and hypothesized. And if my fantasy is that the new spyder could be sold to the masses, and not only to a fraction of the available customer base, is that so wrong?

Just sayin'............

Just can't see a price coming in under $20k.There must be a lot of special cool-aid out there for those suggesting pricing under 10k:dontknow:

I don't think you should rule out that both power plants will be available - in two editions. Nor would I be surprised to see the 1330/6 in the STS LTD (only), while the 990 remains in the others.

This would allow BRP to have a large price spread, and with the "missing" tupperware and forward controls, keep the 990 cool enough to keep the new owners happy.

If the 2013 did not have so many issues, I would have expected a $17K 990 RT as well...

If the F3's production frame is similar to the proto pics, you are correct, that it is more expensive to build than the current frame. However, less plastic means lower costs too, add the no added farkles - like the base RS - and the base F3 could easily be in the $18K range - so I'll second the $18,995 number, and bet on a three model product range... How about that.....

I'm betting there are farkles...windshield....heated grips...bags...audio....etc.......the 2013 ST has had such a bad reputation....this just may be a replacement with no bad history....dump the problem...just a thought

Whether that is the grand plan or not, I suspect it will be the result

Pricing

Wonder where the F3 is going to fall into the 2015 price line spectrum?

I'm hoping its comfortable and has a slice of affordability to it.

Any thoughts, perspectives or wild a$$ guesses on pricing?

Impatiently waiting for more details...

I heard yesterday from reliable source that you can expect the mid $20's
