• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 F3 Error Codes / problem

We are (new to us) Spyder owners. We just purchased a 2015 F3. We took delivery of it on Friday night. When we got home with it a code popped up and said "EBD FAULT BRAKE FAILURE" I had parked on a slight incline and after doing a google search I moved it to a level spot and after a few minutes the code went away. I also checked the brake fluid and it was full, just a little dark colored. Well, Yesterday we went for about a 50 mile ride and the code came back up again. I called a couple of dealerships and talked to the service managers to no avail. Neither of them had seen that code. I read the manual and checked for an error code and it showed "O C 1048". I checked the F3 this morning and it seems fine. Do any of you have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks in advance

Steve

Well....

Can't find that code. Brake failure come from a series of places....check

Brakelight switch
Brake Light bulbs
Brake pads
Brake fluid even the slightest level change will affect it.
Make sure you are not ryding with your foot on the brake
Park brake issues

Also make sure you remove the key and walk away so the vomputers reset and the codes clear.
If they keep coming back see the dealer..:banghead:

It was taken back to the dealer today. I called to check on it and was told that they could not figure it out. They sent the file with the codes showing back to the manufacturer to see what they can find. Hopefully they can hurry up and get it fixed.
