• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

FS: 2015+ F3 Driver and Passenger backrests

Housekeeping post that appears in every Ad:

Please make sure that you, both sellers and potential buyers, read and follow the directions in the READ FIRST! Sticky (& all the posts in that thread) that's found at the top of this forum and linked below:

https://www.spyderlovers.com/threads/read-first-how-to-use-the-for-sale-by-owner-sub-forum.146354/

paying particular heed to:
  • the need for regular posts from you, adding to the thread (& not just edits of the first post!) in order to keep the Ad alive;
  • if you add any pics (and you really should, if you want to sell!), the need to insert no more than 6 images per post as thumbnails iaw the 'Please upload, attach, and insert any pics/images as Thumbnails' Sticky (https://www.spyderlovers.com/thread...ert-all-pictures-images-as-thumbnails.162415/) if you want everybody to be able to view them/your Ad, leaving at least a - between each image - note: having at least one pic in your opening post of the Ad/thread will mean that your Ad will have the first pic shown in your Ad's 1st post appear on the index page - which helps get viewers to look at what you've got/on offer; and posting more pics in new posts added to the Ad/thread regularly over the coming weeks will help keep the Ad up at/near the top of the index and satisfy the first point above ;);
  • do not discuss prices, payment, payment methods, or negotiate at all on the public pages, use the Forum's DM facility to exchange contact details &/or conduct any/all negotiations; and
  • the need to properly finalise the Ad by marking it Sold once you've finished with it, even if you haven't actually 'sold' anything, don't want to sell any more, or just don't need the Ad any longer! ;)
Good Luck with your sale. (y)

Up to you - if it's similar or related gear, maybe all stuff you took off the same bike, then I don't see why you wouldn't add it here (just edit your first post, but please don't insert any more than 6 thumbnails per post (you can always double up items in pics if you need to...) & drop me a DM if you have any hassles, can't change the title etc. ;)) but adding more is your choice - within the scope of the READ FIRST! Sticky, of course. ;)

Personally, I wouldn't add anything that fits a different model Spyder, and adding more items does mean that you'll probably end up needing to edit the Ad to mark each part you sell as sold as & when you do sell it; and then you'll need to do that again to mark the whole thread as SOLD once you've sold off the last bit/decided you no longer want to sell whatever's left; so the editing can become a bit repetitive - but you need to edit the first post to change the thread prefix to SOLD once you sell the backrests anyway! 😋

Only please do be aware, we only have the one prefix to close the thread - so if you sell (all) your gear, you edit the first post and change the prefix to SOLD; &/or if you decide you don't want to sell anything that's left any more, or you just can't be bothered managing the Ad/posting in it regularly any longer, or even if you just don't want the Ad to stay live/on the public pages any longer for any reason at all, you STILL need to edit the first post and change the prefix to SOLD to close your Ad for any reason!(y)

Over to you. DM if you need to. ;)
