There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Hi All,
My 2015 F3S BRP Blue Ridge shield mod raised up 6", moved rearward 8" with DIY Aluminum side mounts/brackets.
No head/helmet buffeting at 80 mph on Hwy 10 Arizona.
BRP F3 raised up shield deflects the wind over top of helmet with mod, no wind buffeting.
BRP F3 shield 16 1/2" height from top of center handlebar mount to top of shield, 24" from top of shield to front of eyeglasses; (about same closer shield position as an RT).
Another option for BRP F3 shield.
Bottom line: it works well after the DIY mount mods!!
Enjoy.
Jim

so where did you get the new mounting components?

Hi,
I DIY built/cut/drilled holes from 13" long x 1" wide x 2" wide x 1/8" thick Aluminum angle; 1/4" thick x 1" wide x 10" long Aluminum flatbar for braces.
The 1 photo shows Aluminum mounts after cut/trimmed/holes drilled/braces bent at bottom to attach to cluster rail bolt.

Ahh ok so you lost me at built/cut/drilled, that's to complicated for me, lol

Amazing Accomplishment

You continue to amaze me with your windshield mounting development work:clap::bowdown:

I see you've been playing again in the Spyder garage!
Hope you've been doing it early it get's Hot out there.
I was invited :(

Do your handle bars not hit in a full turn?

BRP F3 shield full lock left plenty of handlebar clearance IMG_4028.jpg

As you can see by this photo of F3 handlebars in full lock left
there is plenty of room for my handlebars to turn without hitting BRP shield.
It looks like BRP F3 engineers designed this shield to fit higher, with the shield cutouts to clear full lock handlebars.
F3 shield just needed to be mounted about 6" higher & 8" more rearward toward driver, (like on an RT Spyder shield position).
