• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 Can-Am Spyder Roadster Spied!

:firstplace: I think that you're the first to post anything serious about the 2015s! :2thumbs:

I agree! That thing is EXTREMELY SERIOUS!

I hope BRP isn't SERIOUS about that look!

What is that? A 3 wheeled Crysler!?

I know that it's "undercover" but I think the current Spyders look better even after they have caught on fire!

A clue

Since I don't know what the right side of a 1330 looks like but, that engine sure looks strange to me.

"The latest edition of the Spyder is more elemental than the fully faired previous versions, allowing us a look at the Rotax 1330 ACE three-cylinder engine that debuted last year in the 2014 Spyder RT. As Scott Rousseau noted in his review of the 2014 models, the new Triple is a significant improvement over the 998cc Rotax V-Twin powering previous models, boasting significant gains in both torque and horsepower. We’ll assume the motor in this new model will crank out numbers similar to the RT’s 115 hp and 96 ft.-lb. of peak torque."

I'd say forget most of what you have seen. BRP wouldn't take the chance of having anything spoil their reveal. I'm guessing that very little of the cosmetics are what will end up in production. Drive train, suspension, performance are what they are likely focused on and so they made up a nice costume for the test unit.

I find it funny most of the people in this thread who say its igly are RT riders the opposite of who this bike is geared towards.

Don't know that it makes a lot of difference.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

But UGLY is UNIVERSAL! :yikes:

I'm and RS Rider. You couldn't give me an RT......no offense guys ;) You couldn't give me this "might be a 2015" either. If that truly is whats coming the designer(s) should be terminated immediately. Probably the same people that put the pastel colors on the new sleds.

I would guess this is an entry level spyder. I like the "lets show the mechanicals more" approach with less plastic but man the plastic that is there needs to look attractive and this just does not do that. NOT even close. If the 2015 models look like this the 2014's are going to be awful valuable!

The fun is in the shopping anyway; right? :D

Think back when the SPYDERS came out few people thought they were butt ugly but then !! How many people jumped on the design !! I like the TWO tone Especially the metallic gray. That's me thou. Go ahead and have your discussion on this. I enjoy watching this progress. Have fun. Could this be some sort of progress on future products ??

I would guess the "frunk lid" part is missing from what the rest of that part looks like. Old style fenders. Rest, I have no idea.

Legs forward, sitting upright, Cruiser?
Different rear fender mount, swing arm, didn't notice any pics of the left side, new entry model?
