• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014s Go To Orange Long Life Coolant

When Was Change Made

My RT-S was built 3/4/14 and to the best I can determine has green antifreeze. Vossr picked up his in Sept. and was told it's orange? For me it's a 3,000 mile service question later this month or next.

Bill, Isn't water wetter an additive to existing coolant? What
are the maintenance requirements?
Water wetter can be added to coolant but it is most effective running it with just water , the only problem is it will not protect in freezing conditions and will need at least antifreeze added for winter storage or winter riding.

Guys, don't confuse "long life coolant" with "dexcool". Has anyone actually checked. You can't go by color anymore. They DO have an orange HOAT long life coolant that is not dexcool....

Knowing the spyder is Canadian I'd likely believe it's orange dyed G-05 coolant.

That is correct coolant has a dye added, Honda has blue GM and Chrysler use orange now and fords in the short past that I was working for them was yellow.
