• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is there anyway to install the top case without the passenger backrest ( I'm a solo Ryder) and don't like to waste $650 for passenger backrest.
Any idea???
thanks

Going to be tough without the sport rack. There isn't much room back there behind the seat to mount anything to. Also, don't forget you have to lift the seat to refuel.....going to be a custom job for sure....good luck!

thanks Drew

The dealer said, that is the way to do it. I don't want to spend $1,000 instead of $500.
I'll look for custom made, or I'll buy can-am luggage bag that fits in the frunk.
Thanks Drew

Yea, for solo packing I have done a big duffle bag on the rear seat and then a set of soft saddle bags on the sides of the duffle. It worked great and acted as a backrest too.
However, I've really only needed that much luggage once. Seemed like for solo riding the trunk stores quite a bit......at least for a guy....haha
Take care!

Here's the thing..!!

if you ryde solo you should go to the passenger bags available from...Kuryakyn, Nelson Riggs and others. Any hard trunk type is going to require a strong base. You might check with Givi....

Just wondering, if you have an STL which I guess is an ST Limited, dont you have panniers as stock with those?

Top box/case

The only two ways that I'm aware of are:
Purchasing the "NEW" all in one backrest from BRP, this has the facility to mount a top box/case to it.
Purchase a sports rack from BRP and then a Givi top box/case from a retailer and fit the Givi mount to the sports rack. This will require some modification, but is do able.

The other and much cheaper option is to purchase a good waterproof bag and strap it across the back seat, you have plenty of strapping points to use like the grab rails.

Corbin make a nice trunk for solo riders. Problem is you need the seat as well. Cost is about $1100-1200

This is before I got the saddlebags.
