• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Definitely. :bowdown::bowdown:

I do feel some heat, just enough to warm my foot, when I prop my toe on the black deflector with my heel on the floorboard, which puts it directly in front of the grill openings. Outside temps ranged from 40-70F. I don't believe, in hotter temps, this will become a problem. If it does, perhaps the part that is underneath the grill, which is now blocked, can be opened and the upper grill blocked which would route the heat under the feet. I haven't really looked to see if this is possible.

The water temp remains very constant, even in moderate town traffic, unlike the 998's which soared every time you stop at a light.

My water temp on my 2012 RT has never ever soared.It has remained constant even when stopped and running.

Yes, definitely much cooler! Just turned in a bike on Tuesday after a 6 week demo. Never had any heat problems at all. BRP solved that problem. I did hear the fans reverse 1 time when I was waiting in drive thru for coffee.

I have had the reverse fans kick in on several occasions, believe me they work GREAT. No heat problems here.

No heat. My reverse fans went on once in heavy stop and go traffic. Worked great. Temp gauge has never gone above 1/2 way mark. Riding temps in the low 80's here in Florida.

Folks, from the forum the OP posted on the question was in regard to the ST. Answering as to how your 2014 RT is performing won't help. There is a lesson here to be learned by all...be sure to post the model/year/transmission when you ask a question, and do the same when answering. The 2014 RT and ST are very different animals!

:agree: STs will react differently, than the RTs have to their modifications.
Is your question; do those hood-scoops work? :dontknow:
Time and temperature, will tell the story!
