Russ,
When you start shipping these kits: will we receive a notification (with a tracking number)?
Thanks!
hi bob
the magnets are really strong but their field is not all that far(maybe a couple of inches or so).....if you buy and they dont suit your application then of course full refund......read peter aawens review on website re handling magnets...they do bite

some reviews now on website www.magicmirrors.shop and pricing is a little clearer (esp for multiple orders......shipping was a nightmare so has been cleaned up...all prices are now "landed")
thanks russ
sorry if you thought I was complaining, far from it. Just commenting on magnetic field effects that some may not have thought about. I think you have a great product here.
Just a little more about the 'magnetic fields' & their impact on anything - during the testing I did, I tried a LOT of things to see if there was any interference caused or from them; compasses, radios, speakers, wiring, putting credit cards on the dash or mirror or in the glove box, all sorts of stuff, & couldn't find ONE THING that they upset once they were mounted (I did kill an old card when I swiped it on the un-mounted mirror mounts tho!) So I spoke to a few people at the local Uni's & in a couple of Engineering Firms who work in the field (pun intended) about this, even took the Spyder down for them to check out; & was informed that, because of the design of the magnets & the way they are mounted onto the Spyder (effectively 'blocking' the further 'spread' of the magnetic fields beyond their mountings (my descriptive terms, not theirs, but you don't want another page of text, do you?!)) there is only an extremely small chance, once they are installed & the mirrors mounted, that they'll have any impact or effect on anything that's not mounted directly on or within a couple of inches of them.
They ALL basically said the way the magnets are mounted make it very unlikely they'll upset anything else on the Spyder, altho I didn't specifically ask about any mounted magnetic compasses. However, since this response supported & explained the results of all the testing I'd done, I was pretty happy with that. And I hafta say, these Magic Mounts have been one of the best ideas I've seen for improving my Spyder, & one of the easiest things to fit & use I've ever come across, as well as being soooo much better than the OE placcy 'pellets' & spring wire arrangement! :2thumbs:
Ordered me a set, now is the hard part. WAITING!!!!
