• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 Spyder RT Limited Luggage Question

I purchased a new leftover 2014 Spyder RT Limited yesterday and noticed that it only came with the front luggage. I had previously owned a 2013 RT Limited and it came with the complete luggage set. Did the 2014's only come with the front luggage? Thank you!

In 2014 BRP only provided front luggage with the RT Limited. The side bags became extra. They also removed the electric trunk release

Thank you BikerDoc for your quick response! I did notice that they removed the electric trunk release, kind of a bummer but then again I did have issues with it on my 2013.

It isn't a huge loss, the BRP luggage fit loosely and didn't make great use of the limited available space.

Although the quality is only in line with the very reasonable price tag, I bought a set of these on Amazon for about $85 in total and they hold a lot more stuff (just don't overstuff them, and be careful with the zippers):

Frunk:

Back (this is as set of two, and well designed for the purpose):

Sides (you'll need to order two of these):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CIVU0K4?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01

Since the 2014 and 2015 frunk is smaller, and the right left saddle bag is a little smaller than the right one, you'll want to test to see how much room you need to leave, but they do work and are the best solutions I've found.

I agree MRH! Thank you for the links, I'll definitely check out the luggage.
