• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 spyder rt headlight failures

TricLED has my business.

Their LED lights do not require any modification to the Byke parts, no cutting or otherwise, they just plain fit.

Joel, I think most of us bought our LED's long before YITA had the 4 sided LED's available. I know I was all over Amazon, EBAY, and other motorcycle forums and AT THAT TIME couldn't find ANY plug and play LED bulbs that didn't require cutting and modifying the RT's stock headlight assemblies.
If I wanted to cut up those back covers I could find many less expensive LED bulbs, but wanted to avoid that.
Just curious, did you have to modify your headlight assembly or covers to fit those 4 sided YITA bulbs?

They do make a substantial difference, Do you have the exact model/SKU number of the ones you bought. I've got a local Spyder buddy considering.

Having installed both the TricLED and Lamonster garage LED headlamps, I can tell you there is considerable difference in quality and longevity. Have never had to replace a single Lamonster garage headlamp bulb. They fit without modification and WORK.

Two brands have been mentioned here. I posted about the bulbs when I had them installed. A year later--the bulbs are working good.

I had two burn outs on my 2014 before switching to LED's.

If you like ebay, look up 4-sided LED headlight bulbs. They are the latest and brightest design currently available. You could also buy from one of the sponsors on this site, but they only sell 2-sided bulbs. I have YITA 4-sided LED bulbs and LOVE THEM!!
It does seem like the technology of LED headlight bulbs is continually evolving and competition is driving the price ever lower. https://www.amazon.com/Headlight-Co..._rd_wg=7SXTq&refRID=N5RT2W3VDH4SZVWHY2W7&th=1
