• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 Spyder delivery date ?

New member
On 9-30-13 I paid my deposit and agreed to purchase the new 2014 RT Ltd. (1st one for this dealer)
My dealer says expected delivery is Oct./Nov.

When will the dealers know the exact delivery date ???

They really won't know till the truck driver gets there. till then with every movement from BRP, the window gets smaller.

The dealers will receive the information on the vehicle prior to it's shipment. That information should also include the delivery date to them...

Just an FYI if history is any kind of marker

We did the exact same thing back in 2010 when the RTs were 1st coming to market, put down a grand deposit & was told 3 to 4 weeks by the dealer.

Not so patiently waited & never heard anything, so we went back to that dealer 3 1/2 weeks later and the dealer told us,
"Sorry, looks like its going to be 3-4 more ....... MONTHS!"

OMFG!!! Are you serious :banghead: Needless to say, waiting is the hardest part :chill: & it really upset poor lil Teddy

Let's see..!!

they have them schedueled by color...those having trouble waiting may change colors...so like the service industry they will give you a window "between early Nov. to late Feb"....:roflblack: Hope ya'lls wait is not to painful. You know where we are and what we will be doing while you wait...:roflblack: Oooh that was mean..sorry.

They're coming...
I just started up a thread in General Discussion after speaking with Rene at BRP.
It's On! :2thumbs::yes::ohyea::yes:

Per Bob--the 2014's are in production with shipping to dealers in early November.

I know they have mentioned production by colors with Cognac first and White last. So, if your a Cognac fan--it should be on the way first--:popcorn::popcorn:

I waited 7 months for my 2008--any color acceptable--got the halfmoon silver. Deposit in December 2007. 4 months for my 2010 RT-S--deposit in December.

Cruzr Joe talked with Rene about that; it's a myth ... They have different colors coming off the production lines simultaneously. :2thumbs:

Dealer here in VA says he has 14's coming in but if we pay for one it will be "moved up" and come in ahead of the others. BTW, this is the same thing he said for the the several motorcycles I bought over the last three years. And it's held to be true..

I spoke to Renee at Brp today trying to get realistic on an eta, he called back ( missed his call) on gmail he stated he was walking into a meeting and will get back with me re: when production on the Rts will start.....

Bob,
Hopefully I get a call tomorrow, again he stated "quality assurance" I think because there are a lot of eyes on the 14s and it's a make or brake situation, I assume . If they start production with in 2 weeks I am sure deceives will be in December, right now I paid 30k for a trike I don't have yet lol

OK, it's not nice to poke someone (BRP) when they are down, but I could turn your statement around to say that a lot of 2013 buyers "paid 30K, DO have their trike, but NO QUALITY ASSURANCE!!"
