2014 rts cognac led color do u have

Hi all. newowner here. Have the new 2014 rts in cognac. Has anyone added led lights to light up the bike yet...... the strip kind. What color did you get???? where did u get them???? Have pics of where u placed them and how it looks at night?? Here in Calif. I have to stay away from the red/blue ones..

congrats on your new ryde and finding this most excellent site..sorry I don't do leds but from a color standpoint I think yellow would really accent the cognac color. Around the underside giving a nice glo. Those that do do leds will give you options for sure..!! :thumbup:

My best suggestion is WWW.tricled.com look at the ones called 3rd & 4th Brakelight, they are red but legal for their use in all states, they are running lights and brake lights combined on the back of your spyder, good safety and pretty lights.

I like the 3rd and 4th brake LED from Reggie at Tric. Also I just seen that they have a new item, LED ring light that I might just have to buy at Spyderfest.

For a brake light bar I like the one from Custom Dynamics. They now have two models. The model I have is the HMT brake light. I am using it with a back-off module, using it for brake light only not a running light. Where the 3rd & 4rd lights is running and brake light. The other model that Custom Dynamics has is a Run-Brake-Turn all in one unit. The light bars from Custom Dynamics cost quite a bit more but I think it is worth the extra cost.

Both company sell good quality stuff.

I need to warn you. I said that i would never install LEDs. So what was the first thing I purchase at Spyderfest '13. The very first vendor I stop at was Tric and seen the LEDs that run along the top of the fenders. So that what started it all. Now I have LEDs all over, may be over the top. Just take you time and see what other bikers have done. Hope to see you at Spyderfest '14

Yeah I started with TricLED this week ordering some fender side and back lights from him. If he had some other items in stock I would have bought them. I am looking now for a full LED underglow kit. I am sure I can get that done in 3 1/2 weeks at Daytona Bike Week.

I think the only reason wife want to go with me to Spyderfest '14 is to keep a eye on me on what I buy. I had a GREAT time at Spyderfest '13 and '14 is going to be even better.
