• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RTL issues

I have 2 small issues with my 2014 RT Limited.

- The fuel cap is falling apart internally, plastic piece are falling out of it. picking up a new one on Thursday at the dealer. hope no piece fell in the tank.

- Fuel gauge has no back light, checked fuses, all seem OK. Tech said I'm going to have to leave the Spyder to see. So going to hold off. We finally have some nice weather and want to take advantage of it and enjoy the Spyder.

Anyone else encountered these issues.

Bummer..!!

have seen several gas cap problems. Seems the ratcheting mechanisms shatter and rattle apart. If some pieces did fall in should not be a problem. The guage you would have to pull out to check. Don't know if they are any better many have removed them both and gone with other ones like volt meter oil pressure and let the digital guages show on the screen...enjoy the good weather....:ohyea::ohyea:

Sorry to hear that your bike is giving you some issues to worry about.
If it's any consolation; they don't seem bad enough to cost you a lot of riding time...
Here's hoping that they're fixed quickly, and to your satisfaction!

Thanks,

They are small problems compared to others.
As long as i get a replacement fuel cap, I'm good to go riding.
Don't want to be stuck with a cap i cannot remove.
