• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RT With Ultragard cover

After really looking at this ultragard (SIC) cover i realized that i did not like the metal hold down hooks on the bottom (they might scratch the Spyder when putting it on or taking it off), so i plast-dipped them, still did not like it so replaced the metal hooks with a piece of lanyard on each side that wraps around the foot boards, now i am happy.

Hi Joe...I have used my 1/2 travel BRP cover many, many nites. Only use when traveling...so far in all conditions have never experienced a condensation issue...
Thanks for info on swaybar...I am installing and will have the metal links added.

I had the condensation issue at Spyderfest last year and have been trying several different ideas, so far nothing really great but semi happy with this ultragard cover

I don't have the garage option right now, so I have a Guardian waterproof full cover. It came with a strap to hook underneath at the bike's midpoint. Great cover, although it does have the condensation issue.

Warning for all who use covers outdoors though. We had some winds come up, not enough to damage the RV awnings, but the gust caught underneath the cover, lifting and spinning it. The antenna was snapped off by the cover. So if you only have a center strap, you may want to figure out a way to secure the front and rear of the cover.

Very good point and be sure that any of the straps on the cover do not have metal hooks, if they get loose and flap around .................. multiple scratches and gouges in your paint. :(:(
