• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here is a pic of a 2014 with a rack and flags, shorty antenna with and without the ultragard travel cover,
Did not have to remove anything before putting cover on

the BRP cover will not work with a rack and flags

Cruzr Joe

Oh, not just a rug, a Persian Rug! :roflblack:

Where to buy

Joe where did you buy cover? Item #? Re rug...of course .. Ms Spyder would be offended if I parked here on that cold concrete.:roflblack:

No it does not have holes for antenna

You could either use a shorty antenna or

Sew one or two slits into it

Can't let Snoopy know what you've got there; he'll want to move in! :yikes:

Spoiled Spyder

Hope you mind me adding my reflections here. Seeing Joe's "Spyder" home caused me to remember how in the 1960s I kept my BSA in my living room as a coffee table. But obtain girlfriend which became wifey and bike got demoted to garage. I see now the error of my ways. Move the living room to the garage!

Not Waterproof

I was ready to order the Ultragard from Amazon when I see that it is only considered water repellant, not waterproof. Which stopped me from making the choice...I sure like what I see, but I have to have waterproof. So I am going to contact a site sponsor, SHADY PRODUCTS LLC, and see what Tom could create something similar but waterproof and with an antenna slit. When I find out, if you folks are interested, I will post the information here. Since I have a back trunk rack the BRP travel cover is a smig small....:gaah:
Joe I see you added Ron's swaybar...your review on that please. Thanks.

oh yea GO SEAHAWKS

I have found that the "Waterproof" covers create a condensation inside during cold weather, water resistant allows it to breath and so you kind of wind up with the same results, in the heat, the water resistant allows for shade but the water proof creates water. also i only use a cover when on overnight trips. I don't understand all that i know about this subject so my comments come with a money back guarantee. :roflblack:

The Ron bar helps to stabilize the Spyder for me in turns, curves and when riding on the Interstate Highways, les lean or motion, i like it, i also replaced the links, don't know if it was necessary but metal links versus plastic links sounded like a good idea, a little extra cost , but, i am worth it.

Lets get ready for Spyderfest.:yes::yes:

Good explanation! :clap::2thumbs:
that's why I use "waterproof"... Garage! ;)

Yeah, I use a Heated and cooled Shop for the storage of my Spyder.:thumbup:

And no, i don't think Snoopy is trainable, he has a tendency to be a guard dog. :roflblack::roflblack:

Hi Joe...I have used my 1/2 travel BRP cover many, many nites. Only use when traveling...so far in all conditions have never experienced a condensation issue...
Thanks for info on swaybar...I am installing and will have the metal links added.
