• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RT-S Seat Getting Hot?

:D Now; that's just braggin' :2thumbs:

How warm does that beauty get?
Is the heat pretty evenly-distributed?

I had it on the low setting and it was noticable through my riding pants. Not to hot just enough to warmed my backside up. This works with the grips so when you set your gribs on it turns on the seat. I have yet to try the hot setting :chill: as this may have to happen.

So; it co-ordinates it's efforts with the grips? :2thumbs:
This may require further investigation. :D
 "Oh, Honey..."

The only concern with this seat is how small the passanger seat area is. That 2" that they extended the drivers area really makes a difference for the passanger.

 Oh shoot...
Only the comfort seat is offered in the heated version. :gaah:
The Missus does need "sufficient" room back there; NOT that I'm saying anything!! :yikes:

I wouldn't. They get sensitive. You may find the front portion of your seat, armor all'ed or worse. :roflblack:

heat in 2014

i have only owned my 2014 for 2 weeks. but i said to my ryding parter the other day, that there is an excessive amount of heat at the base of the glove box and front of seat...since the majority of replies to this post have no problem, i guess there must be something missing or in the wrong place on my vehicle...

any suggestions as to what i should have the dealer check out?

One thing that will help is a sheepskin cover and let it overlap on the front, just over onto the painted areas. I had put some thin insulation underneath the seat and also on the
frame but it didn't really help much.

Notice the same today. At a 102 degree ride today the inside of both my upper legs is beat red and raised rash.
