I did it myself but it is a big job. If your comfortable with tools you can do it.
A dealer is going to charge probably $600 or more to install them.

If you want to do it or see what the job looks like, I did a 3 part video install series for them.

Installation of Tri-axis Handlebars

I'm new to the forum and actually have not purchased a spider let. I have driven Goldwing trikes for about 20 years now and I have decided to investigate a change. My question, when a dealer receives a spider from manufacturer to what degree does he have to assembly it? For example if I were to want a Tri-axis Handlebar installed, could it be done at a reduced cost?

Hey David, you wouldn't save anything as the bars are fully attached from the factory.... but...a good dealer would probably cut you a deal or throw in the install if it meant making the sale. Some will install accessories for free when you're buying the Spyder.

Oh... and it's Spyder....not Spider..... ;-)
