• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. 2014 RT LTD brake pads

Good morning, well I was outside late yesterday afternoon and night taking my front wheels off of the bike and cleaning them real good and checking the brake pads. I have attached a caliper pic of the thickness on the front pads. I have 15,000 miles on the bike. They look a little worn to me for 15.000 miles. I blew out the dust and pressure washed the brakes and air dried them and sprayed brake cleaner on them to hopefully get rid of the squealing (if it is the fronts squealing). Do they look ready for replacing, I'm thinking so sometime this summer/fall. I'll probably put another 2-4,000 miles on them this year yet hopefully since I am retired now. Thanks, Mike

Hey MIke......

As I recall there is a grove across the center of the pads. It's called a wear grove. If your pads have worn down so far that the grove is not longer visible, replace the pads.

Don't know

Not familiar with the spec's on the brembo brakes on the new models but I am sure it is in the manual. I have 40,000 plus miles on mine and still good but it is the older RS. Will say that the RT especially the SE6 goes through brakes a bit faster. It looks to me they are still in good shape but others will best tell you.
