• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 RT-L Test Ride Today

Rode my 2010 RT to my dealer today to get a spare key ($45.00). While waiting to have it programed (or what ever they do to it), I asked if I could have a test ride on their 2014 RT Limited. They had just finished putting it together, adding oil, etc. I got on the bike - first impression: seat is 'different' - compared to my past two Spyders (both had Corbin seats). Next, turned the key on. Oh my goodness: ZERO miles! Has not been out of the yard yet! Engine start - not your Fathers Spyder, that is for sure (Daughter, Laura, has a 2011 RT-L)! Different sound all together. Out on the road -- shifting is smooth. No, I take that back -- it is SMOOOOOOTH!. If you are sitting on the fence about the purchase of a new Spyder, "you owe yourself a try on" (didn't Geraldine say something like that re: Flip Wilson?)

See y'all at Spyderfest

Must be something from "Yellow Tail"... :2thumbs:

There's no luck at all involved; He gave the bike to me... and sold me one VERY expensive bottle of Courvoissier!

No new bike in my future

I'm very pleased with the 2010 ride I have now. I just wanted to post support for the 2014 for those that are thinking about one. My dealer had the best comment: "Take all the past problems and roll them into one: This machine has NONE of them. I guess the verdict is still out there on the 2014 ST models, etc.

See All Ya'll next week in Springfield
