There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. 2014 RT Exhaust Slip-On Muffler

I will be doing a slip-on muffler over the Winter riding down time.My question is what do the 2014 RT owners have on there Spyder? Also I was reading somewhere that with the 1330 motor/3 cylinder that the slip-on muffler will be more for show then a louder tone coming out of the pipe because of it being a inline 3 cyclinder :dontknow:

I have ordered a 2015 RT limited and am going to put on a Akripovic Exhaust that BRP sells. Some will say its too expensive but I like the sound.

Choices choices..!!

there are several and I'm sure more will appear in the near future. The cat mod changes the tone a bit the akrapovich from brp is, of course, way expensive but if you go to you tube you can see and listen to others. Members here have made changes and posted their results as well...

I can not find videos on You Tube that are 2014 RT Spyders. Most are older Spyders not the 1330 motor/3 cylinder.

You might want to check out the "Yoshimura" RS3. I had just finish ryding :yes:the F3 :spyder2: at RideNow and one of the salesmen fired up a 2014 RT and it had the Yoshi on it and it sounded great. Thinking about ordering one for my 2014 RT. But , I ordered the R77 instead. It sounds a little deeper. Just another option.

What model of Yoshi did the 2014 RT have on it? I cannot find a Yoshi for a 2014RT list on he company web site
On the Yoshi web site R77 is for years up to 2013 Rt not for the 2014 Rt with the new motor. What will happen if you install one a 2014 RT?

That's kind of my issue. Not many options on a slip-on for a 2014 RT 1330 motor.I figure with the new motor being out for a while now there would be more slip-on choices.

This is why I ordered a BRP Akripovic exhaust for my new 2015 RT. I did not want to use a slip on pipe not designed for the new motor. My first choice was Yoshi but they did not return my e-mail when inquired about a pipe for a 2015 RT.

Just in case I was having a "Senior (Ol Folks) moment", I contacted the sales manager at RideNow and he verified what I had said earlier. The Yoshi was on the 2014 RT. It was the RS3. I will try to get a part number for you if you are interested.

I swapped out the stock exhaust for a Two Brothers SR1. Loud enough to be heard but not overbearing. Picked it up on ebay from a dealer's online store for about $400 delivered. Still considering doing the cat delete but concerned that by relieving that much back pressure might lean out the fuel mix too much and I'm not interested in a juice box.

Slip on Exhaust

One of our supporting vendors Spyder1Attitude.com on the home page has some choices for the 1330 RT...I used them to make me up a custom Magnaflow slip on muffler system like some are using...Do a search for RTS 1330 Magnaflow and you will see Jim's from AZ idea which I used...
