• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

interesting read.. don't know if this info has been posted in another spot yet 3 and 1/2 stars They say "A sweet new engine the "motorcycle" traditionalists continue to scoff at, but that continues to sell."

no link yet

I just received the magazine a couple of days ago in the mail.. it's the Feb 2014 issue. They won't put it on their site for a while.
A couple of things I found interesting was the idle speed is now around 800 rpm's and the new six speed drops the revs from about 4,500 to a little over 3000 at 60 mph

Rider magazine also covered the 2014 RT in both the September and December issues. The December article looks like a re-hash of the September one--but they said mostly good things about it. These articles are available on line. Sorry no link.

In early November BRP sales rep was at my dealers open house I had a chance to ride the preproduction RT. It is going to be an awesome Spyder RT.:yes:
The 2014 is everything that the article says it is plus a whole lot more.
