• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 rs cluster question

Hi everyone! I am new to this group and to the world of Spyder. I own a repair shop and was asked recently to look at a 2014 Spyder RS S. It was involved in a front end collision and the cluster is no longer on bike. It will start, but it will not go into gear. I can manually put it into gear, but it will not do it on it's own. Question is: Is this all because of the missing cluster?

The cluster is integrated into the ECM programming. My F3 will not even start with the cluster unplugged. The missing cluster can indeed be causing all sorts of odd things to occur.

Really techy....

These vehicles are tied into all parts and the cluster is an intergral part of it. So much so that the flasher unit is in the cluster. If you found a way to get it started you are going to have issues with all the other functions. You best find a cluster somewhere even in the junk yards....they are out there...
