• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2014 RT, I have a question on the rear suspension air pressure. If the rider is 200 lbs and the passenger/load is 150lbs, What should be the max. air pressure for the air shock?

Manual air ride pressures

I have the same Spyder with about the same load. 9,000 miles of testing various pressures....

80# offers the best ride, 85# if your are riding the twisties aggressively.

Important - spend the money on a good gauge, this pressure is the difference between a good ride or not.

Important - no matter what gauge you use, remember each time you check the pressure, you will loose 4-5#
by just using the gauge, no way to avoid it.

How often should the air pressure be checked, does the system hold the pressure?

No loss of pressure

Never dropped a pound of pressure in 7 months. The quality of the components must be way above normal.

I used to check the pressure once a week, now I do it once a month.

You will know from your ride if the pressure drops, it will seem 'loose' or will start to bounce on the harder bumps.

I believe that on the base RT there is a label under the seat near the schrader valve that shows the desired pressure based on rider/passenger weights.
