• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 hea issues

Air Scoops for heat issue. Yes!

Me To Service Manager: I’ve been seeing on the forums where BRP has been supplying the air scoops for other year model RT”s Having some heat issues. Anything to this?

Service Manager: Yes sir they are, we can get you fixed up on that, just call in and set an appointment.

I'm going to do this as soon as I can. Dealership is a 6 hour drive away for me.

Before you drive 6 hours to get the scoops put on, I would call them back and make sure that BRP is covering the scoops.
I thought that the scoop fix was for 2013 and older RT's (your signature says you have a 2014).
I just don't want you to be surprised (and possibly pissed) after you drive all that way and then they tell you that they are charging you for scoops + labor.

 These are motorcycles, and you're sitting right behind an engine... :dontknow:
If there's no heat; it just ain't running! :banghead:
I'm sorry if I don't sound sympathetic, but what exactly are you looking for?

I have ridden motorcycles for a lot of years, and yes you do get a lot of engine heat off any bike, but the amount heat coming off of this is a little to much

I'm glad that you understand where I was coming from with my comments. :D These bikes are just as often being ridden by a first-timer, as they are by a "grizzled old veteran"...

...And sometimes the newbies expect it to be just like their Lexus!
