• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody that took delivery of their 2014 Spyder were able to get from the yellow tagged promotional
sales event the extra two years of B.E.S.T. warranty?

Here is the link to it.
http://can-am.brp.com/spyder/promotions/can-am-spyder-yellow-tag-event.html

It says offered valid from December 12, 2013 until January 31, 2014.

Eligible units are new and unused 2011 to 2014 Can Am Spyders model.

The buyer of a 2011, 2012, 2013, or 2014, units will receive the 24 month
BRP Limited Warranty plus a 24 month B.E.S.T. extended warranty service
contract subject to a $50 deductible on each repair.

The buyer of eligible units will also receive 24 months of free roadside assistance.

My 2014 came in last week they're putting it together but had to order a part for the nose
that got damaged in shipping. Hope to pick it up next week.

Thanks

This sweetens the pot a little because if you have a trade-in with BEST warranty left on it (over 2 years currently on mine), you can't get any rebate. In recent negotiations the extra warranty wasn't mentioned by my salesman. Perhaps he didn't know.

I asked the dealer about it at the time of purchase and he said the 2 extra years of warranty will come directly from BRP.

Yes, dealer agreed to the 2+2 warranty promo

Yes, my 2014 RT Limited just arrived at the dealer late last week. Our contract states the 2+2 warranty is included with my purchase price. Issue is the promo ends 1-31-14....so I pressed the dealership on whether or not my bike was going to make the deadline. Since it's here and we're doing the paperwork this week, it's a moot point for me as I'm getting the promo of the 2+2 warranty.

The REAL question is: For those who ordered the bike and don't get it before the promo runs out on 1-31-14, will it be honored for existing orders prior to that time IF BRP can not deliver in time???

Good luck with your purchase.
