• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 BRP CB Question

On my 2014 BRP CB, do I set the intercom and VOX all the way down or all the way up? I ride solo with no intercom or VOX. My CB is poor at best, dealer moved it from my 2011 RT-S, but sends and receives at lower levels.

Use the LEFT/RIGHT buttons to select
the item to change (channel, squelch,
CB volume, intercom volume and vox
detection).
Use the UP/DOWN buttons to set a
value.
Press and hold the DOWN button for
more than one second to set the item
to its lowest value.

Since you ride solo, set the VOX all the way to the top so wind noise doesn't open it. This is the one on the right when you are looking at the CB screen. Hope this helps.

The intercom is the volume only for the intercom. Since the mic sensitive is all the way up the intercom is a non issue.

Thank you

Sir,
Thank you for your service to our country. I am retired after a 20 year career in the Navy (no offense) did spend a tour at MacDill AFB in Tampa though I deployed a lot.
Good luck with your toy.
Rob;)
