• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The Bike Week related fatalities stands at 5 this morning. This number covers as large an area as I can get news on. Please drive with care!

tomorrow I go back up and am leading some rides for folks, same on friday, and then the BRP event on saturday

keep your eyes open and head moving

HOLY COW!! Is this level of accidents/fatalities common on large rallies or is this a bad year? Please, everybody ride and be safe.

My stats are no scientific I just listen to the reports from Bright House and keep the numbers in my head. I think there was Ocala, Brevard, Ormond, Daytona. Last years total was like 7 but they did not include out of area counties.

Death Counts

Since I have coming or doing Bike Week (63) was my last move into FL the usual number is 3 to 5.…BW encompasses so many different counties and the media does a sucky job of reporting them. They probably miss half of them.

Have you ever ridden to Sturgis

There are always a couple on the way to Sturgis. Some bike riders don't mix well with cars. Some care riders don't mix well bikes. Seen and been in a few close calls, and it always seems to happen the closer you get to the event. IMHO

One of these days I have to make it to a Spyder event....
