• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2014 and vibration

My 2012 RT had a small vibration that was driving me nuts. I checked everything in the front end and I have a belt stabilizer, still had that little vibration. So I went to my dealer this morning to check out the new 2014's. He didn't even want to talk. said he had way to many 2013's he had to get rid of first. Well since I was already there I checked with service dept. and ask if they could balance my front wheels. Got the strangest look, but since it was my dime they did it. ! wheel was 15 grams off and the other was 12 grams. I am now a happy camper. Vibration is all gone. It now rides like the Caddy it was designed to do.

Good news..!!

sometimes you have to push hard to get things done but glad you did and your ryde is smooth and enjoyable as it should be....:ohyea:

Just my opinion....There should be absolutely no way the fronts should be that far out of balance from new. :yikes:

If your dealer didn't want to talk to you about selling you a new machine I'd be looking for another dealer. :banghead:

I complained about the front wheel vibration when I first got my '12 RT-S and dealer tech said there was nothing wrong. The tech just finish (partly) my 14K service. On the 8 mile test ride he noted the vibration took away from one of the best handling RT's he had rode (thanks to Bajron ). So now that it's on my dime there is a vibration problem :gaah:

You are right Ann and I have another in mind. Just wanted to see what he could do for me so I have something when I do go for the trade. But the way my 12 goes now I think I'll just wait a bit.

Pa is known as the pot hole capitol of the world. And riding these rough roads can very easily knock them out of balance
