• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 -- Still No Spyder Diecast Models. Why?

RT-S PE#0391
We've now passed beyond the fad of the neat little New Bright Spyder RS r/c toy. Lots of folks snarfed 'em up. All I ever wanted was a to-scale diecast of my Spyder RT. The only thing I've ever seen in diecast was something from HotWheels, called "Tri & Stop Me," that kinda looked like a Spyder, but it really wasn't. Ironically, it was supposedly 'inspired' by the Can Am Spyder production machines. Hmph. A fake inspired by the real thing which is actually cooler.

With the popularity of the Can Am Spyder (in both the earlier RS/RT flavors and now the ST), I don't understand the blantant vacuum of Mattel (HotWheels) or Hasbro (Transformers), not marketing just a little diecast of these machines (Course, this goes with my complaint that Kuryakyn won't make clamshell grips for the RT's either). I mean, "Let's just skip the obvious, and miss the market, okay?"

I would love to have a diecast model of my Spyder RT-S (or as close as possible) on my desk. I never really wanted the r/c Spyder; just a diecast. We started asking for these things back in 2010. It's now three years later, and the Spyders have been out for five years. I mean, if I can find a "NEW RAY SKI-DOO (BRP) MXZ REV 2003 1/12 SCALE DIECAST," or any number of models of low-density motorcycles, why can't we have a diecast Spyder?

Who do we complain to here?

When I was leaving a restaurant the other night, a family was was walking by and the kid was talking about the Transformers. I explained that they use the RS models and painted them black. I think the kid wanted my RT to change into a robot. I turned on the switch and they loved the farkels.

I will attemp to post a pic of my model GS. It was in a box marked Transformer, but did not include robot. This the one that was in movie, suposedly. Did not see the movie. Probably got 3 or more years ago. When you pull the back wheel, a mortor comes up behind the seat, two guns of some kind under the windshield and something right in the middle of the front.

well lets show them how many we would order!

I'd take a orbital blue RT-S and a red RT-S ...not concerned about the price (to a point)
