• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2013 Stabilizer Bar Link Rods (FYI)

Had mine replaced today. Took about 15 minutes and no charge. I was on my way in no time.

Chris PS: Edit: [It wouldn't be a bad idea to call your service department first and making sure they have the part before running down there to change out.]

PSS: Your dealer will know your Vin# and can find out via their computer whether you need this change or not.

When I mentioned the stabilizer links to my service tech - he said "oh, did you find that on the internet"? He also said it does NOT apply to the 2013 ST model.
True or not?

Where is the BRP notice that I can show him?

I cut to the chase - I called BRP directly. According to the rep - it could apply to the the ST-L...but, he was able to look at my VIN and tell me my bike has no recall or bulletin associated with it.

So - this IS VIN specific.

Very nice rep and the wait time on the phone was minimal.

No panels need to be removed but you will need to raise your Spyder's front end and crawl under it to see the links. Search for other posts on this subject and there should be some posts with pictures that show the location of the sway bar links.

I don't have the equipment to raise mine. I used my cell phone with the flash. Stuck my arm underneath and started clicking, every which way, until I had a photo of the joint where I could see the CVCC number . . . unfortunately, it is a 4 and there is no dot of paint.

There's some good news: you're eligible for some new parts for free!
There's some bad news: (see the above)
